Step 1
To build an intuitive platform that meets both candidate and recruiter needs, I conducted comprehensive user research. This involved gathering insights through user interviews and competitor analysis to identify key pain points and opportunities for improvement. I focused on understanding the challenges faced by candidates in finding relevant jobs and tracking applications, as well as the difficulties recruiters face in managing large volumes of applicants and making competitive offers.

Step 2
To ensure the platform offered a smooth experience for both candidates and recruiters, I designed a detailed user flow that maps out every stage of interaction. Starting from the sign-up/sign-in process, I created separate paths for candidates and recruiters, each focusing on their unique needs and pain points.
By visualizing these steps, I was able to identify potential bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, ensuring the platform was intuitive and efficient. This user flow was essential in aligning the product with the needs of both user groups, helping to create a smooth and engaging experience from start to finish.
Step 3
To kickstart the design process, I created low-fidelity wireframes that served as the foundation for the platform's layout and functionality. These wireframes focused on the essential structure and flow of the user experience, without the distraction of visual design elements.
Step 4
As part of the design process, I created a comprehensive Design System to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform. By standardizing elements like typography, color schemes, and spacing, the design system allowed for faster prototyping and easier collaboration between me and developers.
Step 5
I created high-fidelity mockups, integrating core functionalities to establish a clear understanding of the platform’s structure, logic, and interconnected elements. Additionally, I introduced a modern color palette and a fresh set of UI elements designed to be more intuitive and empathetic to the user experience. Below are variations of key screens showcasing these improvements.
The onboarding process plays a critical role in shaping the user's first impression of the product. My objective was to refresh the illustrations, making them more approachable and contemporary. I chose a surrealistic style because abstract illustrations, while not always evoking specific associations or emotions, still effectively complement the accompanying text.
To create a more engaging onboarding experience, I introduced a progress bar on the left, which fills up as users complete each step. This visually emphasizes how their profile improves with every stage of data entry, and the more progress they make, the higher their chances of achieving their goals.
My goal was to create a simple and intuitive interface that makes the job search process easier by focusing on the most important information: job title, salary, and key skills. By default, users are offered recommended jobs that are tailored to their experience and preferences, thanks to a smart algorithm. Each job listing includes essential tags, such as work format (office or remote), type of employment, and required skills. This allows users to quickly filter out irrelevant listings and focus on those that best match their qualifications.
The sidebar with "Top Jobs" provides additional visibility for popular positions, helping to speed up the search process. To appear in these top positions, companies must pay a fee, ensuring that premium listings get more attention from candidates.
The Job Board is one of the most significant features I’ve worked on. Job searching can be quite overwhelming at times, with a lot of information flowing between candidates and recruiters. It’s easy to lose track of critical details. Our goal was to design a clear dashboard that highlights the most important statuses. Each column represents a specific stage of the interview process, allowing users to quickly monitor the number of applications and see which stage a particular position is currently in. By clicking on a job, users can access the chat with the candidate or recruiter, see the interview stages, and view when the next call is scheduled.
The goal of our platform is not only to help candidates find jobs but also to assist them in improving their skills to advance in their careers. Our platform analyzes the candidate's resume, highlights their strengths, and provides suggestions on which skills they should develop to increase their chances of securing the desired offer.
Step 6
I collaborated with a large team of developers, solving numerous design and UX challenges that arose during the process. My work involved creating a comprehensive design system, improving user flows, and ensuring that the platform was intuitive and user-friendly. This experience allowed me to apply and enhance my skills in product design, and I’m proud of the innovative solutions and improvements I brought to the table. Invented and introduced innovative features that differentiated the product from competitors, leading to a 20% increase in user engagement. The client was extremely satisfied with our work and expressed great enthusiasm for the changes we implemented.
